EXPLORER

This is my page dedicated to all the youth out there participating in the Explorer Program.  As a youth, I also participated in the explorer program and owe allot to my advisor who is still a great friend and a mentor.  Thanks Sgt903 for all the help, only those of us you taught really know the meaning of your true sincerity.

For those departments that don't have an explorer program or for those persons that are unfamiliar with the program, it is an affiliation of the Boy Scouts of America.  It, however is co-ed, and designed to provide an inside look at different occupations by allowing a hands on learning environment.  Not only does it provide a safe place for our youth to get together, it also provides leadership training, career oriented training, real life experiences, and educational support.  Ages vary from department to department, but the minim standard is 14 to 21.  More information can be obtained by calling your local chapter of the Boy Scouts of America.
